New York is ranked as one of the third most stressful cities in the nation, according to Forbes.com.

These results were based on an examination of quality-of-life factors including unemployment rates, cost of living, home-price drops, population density, and the number of sunny days each city sees.

According to the Web site, "The economic climate is clearly kicking up stress levels."

New York is less stressful only after Chicago and Los Angeles, cities one and two, respectively.
