Just some more stuff

I totally switched out someone’s towels in the dryer for my clothes, because I waited an hour and nobody came to get their stuff. So I left a note with my room number, in case they wanted to start a fight, but when I went back, their stuff was still there. So I just put it back in the dryer and threw the note away like it never happened. And if anybody asks, it didn’t.

It takes an hour and a half and $3.50 to do a load of laundry. But there are machines on my floor, so I don’t have to trek down to the basement or anything!

I hate my stupid desk chair. It’s like a rocking one, and it never stops rocking.

I got a free T-shirt today! Yay. That’s what I paid $55,000 for. Haha.

I learned last night that the AC needs to stay on while we sleep. Woke up way too hot. Also, my hamper was hanging on the garment rack Margo lent me, and it pulled it over this morning at like 5 a.m. I guess it got too heavy. Go figure. Margo also gave me an umbrella to use. That was nice of her.

One of the other journalism students made a good point today that I hadn’t thought about. She was saying that it’s pretty much going to suck having to walk all the way to campus to use our meal plan in the winter… And it is. She’s right. But I guess I could jump off that bridge when I get to it.

Today I saw a guy with only one arm, and I discovered a prejudice I didn’t know I had. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t date a guy with only one arm, because I like to be held, so…yeah… These are the things I think about.

The journalism transfers took a tour of the journalism building in Cooper Square today. And it was awesome! Oh my goodness, it was so nice, and it has tons of state-of-the-art equipment. It’s two floors and has a broadcasting room and everything. Big computer lab, separate conference/pitch room. They have a radio broadcasting place, too. I’ll be spending a lot of time there, I’m sure, so I’ll have something more useful to say later. For now, just know that it is awesome.
