Friday

It rained today! And was pretty windy, so that kinda sucked. The NYU bus left right as I was coming out of the building, and if I had walked into the rain for 20 minutes, I would have been soaked. I caved and took the subway, and got pretty soaked as it is. A couple times the wind turned my umbrella inside out and I felt retarded, but then I saw a couple other people with the same situation, so I felt better.

Went to WSN for more training, which took forever and was pretty redundant, seeing as how Tim already went over my test with me. But oh well. I got to meet the new copy editors. They seem pretty cool. All but one are freshmen.

Grabbed dinner with Calvin; falafel for the first time. Yummy! And now I know where St. Marks place is [ish] and where I can go for a cheap tattoo. We had a pretty good talk about community college journalism experiences. He was EIC on his paper for a bit, too. And they had a pedophile on their staff as well. But…come to think of it, he may have been “joking” about it, because I don’t think he ever specified… Hmm.

NOTE TO SELF: ASK CALVIN IF HE WAS SERIOUS ABOUT ED.

Also, something I forgot to mention the other day, when writing about WSN: Everyone knows that I’m the best at AP style, right? But get this — Tim is better than me. I have someone from which to glean knowledge. He has answers to my questions. He questions me. [I know I sound really cocky right now, but let’s face it. I was pretty good]. It’s awesome, I love it! I’m going to enjoy WSN I think. But I do miss the Mountaineer staff! Aww :-/ I love those people.

I’ve been listening to somebody play music through the walls as I write this. I was going to thank them, ‘cause it’s been nice, but I think they stopped… :-/

Oh, nope. There it is. OK time for gratitude and homework.
