Life lessons

These were pointed out to me yesterday by a very cool new friend I made:

First, the education is more or less the same no matter which college/university you attend. What you’re paying for is the name. [This was obviously brought up because I attend NYU, and I said I found it a bit overrated.]

Second, if a guy calls me by just my last name, he just wants to be friends. This is an indication that he's making me his "buddy."

In other news: It was cold and rainy today. Summer is departing.

The purple NYU trolley that used to take students from my dorm up to Washington Square is on a different route now, which is fine. It’s also been painted white. I think that's so it'll stop being confused with all the other purple trolleys cruising around lower Manhattan.
