When the weather was nice

I went with my friend Genoa a couple weeks ago to some places he likes in the city. We went to the Highline Park, which is fun. It’s interesting and it’s the epitome of a New York City park. I’ll post pictures later after I take some. But then we walked over to Chelsea Piers and up the river a bit more. I made him ride a carousel with me, and there were some very interesting animal choices, like a lobster. And I rode a beaver.

Genoa rode the green sea turtle, because he's from Hawaii.

Then we had lunch on this boat restaurant called the Frying Pan. It was just burgers and fries, but they were delicious!
Genoa called me Betty Crocker. I don't get it.
The first seats we tried to eat in, it was so windy my bun blew off, so Genoa had to ask for another one.
View from the top part of the boat.

Then we moved downstairs to a place blocked by the wind [later I realized we got sunburned sitting there]. Also, the bathrooms at this place were really cool. And you definitely could feel the boat swaying, at all locations of the boat. Love. It was fun.

Kayakers! In front of the New Jersey skyline.

Then we walked back over and down to Chelsea Markets for dessert. We had real milkshakes at the Ronnybrook Store [a local upstate farm]. I had an orange creamsicle one. Yummy!
