"Million Dollar Quartet"
This was a mediocre Off-Broadway play about Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins having a jam session at Sun Records. The music was fun, obviously. The actors were pretty good at the impersonation thing, and the label owner, Sam or whatever, was pretty good, but beyond that, it left a lot to be desired. A friend recommended it long ago, but it was the only show he ever saw in New York, and now I know why. I wouldn't want to see another show either if I thought they would all be that bad. Certainly wasn't as good as the other Off-Broadway shows I've seen. But now I know.
