The Avengers

Thursday. Was. Awesome.

I went with several friends to the movies. But it was an epic day of movies. We went to a Marvel marathon in preparation for the midnight showing of "The Avengers." It was great! The theater was not too crowded (we were on the East side) or rowdy. They had a good system: First movie at 11:30 a.m., then 20 minute break, then repeat. The five of us are awesome, we were well-equipped with snacks, and the audience was fun.

We watched "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," "Captain America." I'd seen them all before, but they were all still great. "The Avengers," however, was amazing!! I had forgotten Joss Whedon did it, which explains why it was so good. It was a perfect balance of tension, screen time, and humor. And now my loyalties are swaying from Tony Stark to Thor... He is a beautiful man playing a beautiful demigod, that's all I'm sayin'.

Avengers gets five stars, one for each of the very attractive men starring in it (Jeremy Renner plays Hawkeye). Go see it!
