This is at Wollman Rink in Central Park, looking toward the buildings on Fifth Avenue. NYU rented out the rink, so it was totally free, but it was FREEZING that night! Dave concluded that it's a rule for ice rinks to play crappy music [they were a bunch of remixes of not very good songs to begin with]. We stayed for about an hour, then left to get some hot chocolate to thaw out.
These are at Bryant Park for an FHE activity. This is looking south on the rink, toward the Empire State Building. We went as a group after institute, and they had Insomnia Cookies for us, too. So yummy! The skates here are painful, though. They kept cutting into the side of my foot, and they gave me a bruise. Needless to say, I wasn't on the ice long. They played much better music here, though: Louis Armstrong and Michael Buble.

| Oh this is our LDSSA presidency! I didn't even realize... Charlye, president. Caitlin, treasurer. Mattie, vice president. |

Then this guy was there. You can't see his skates very well, but they were covered in sequins and they lit up. He was listening to his own music and dancing as he moved SO SLOWLY around the rink. Everyone was taking pictures, so Adam took one with him.
